Last week we took Violet to the beach for the first time. It was beautifully warm and sunny in Capitola.
So many new sights and sounds.

While sitting close to daddy she explored the feel of sand with her hands and feet.
Before you knew it she was completely comfortable playing on the beach. I would build...
...and she would demolish!
Lunch time in her private cabana. The sunlight shone through the towel casting a pinkish glow while the sound of the waves drowned out distractions. Even though we were surrounded by others it felt almost as if we were alone. She dozed off and on and laughed as she grabbed my nose.
